Managing Partner
Jaco de Vos, the Founder and Managing partner at JFV Professional Accountants, earned his B. Compt and Honors degrees from the University of the Free State and the STR qualification from the University of South Africa. Post-finalizing his articles in 1997, he advanced as an audit manager until 2001 before launching JFV Professional Accountants.
With a passion for nurturing small businesses through their challenging initial years, Jaco guides them towards sustained growth through the subsequent stages of development. As the key manager of JFV, he continually adapts the firm to the dynamic accounting world. His vision centres on building long-term client relationships anchored in trust, precision, practicality, and innovation.
Prioritising staff wellbeing and growth, Jaco takes pride in the robust team at JFV. Outside his professional life, he cherishes outdoor moments with his family and is an enthusiastic mountain biker.
Senior manager
Lee-Anne du Plessis is a Senior manager at JFV Professional Accountants. She completed her N.Dip: Internal Auditing at the Central University of Technology, Free State and qualified as a Professional Accountant through SAIPA.
Lee-Anne started her articles at JFV Professional Accountants in 2009, and her main interests are Income Tax and the compilation of Financial Statements. After work, she loves spending time with her family and dogs.
Senior Manager
Phoebe Claassens is a Senior manager at JFV Professional Accountants.
She earned her B. Acc Honors degree and CTA from the University of the Free State in 2002. After finishing her articles in 2005, Phoebe served as an audit manager for two years, followed by a six-year stint as a tax manager before joining JFV Professional Accountants.
She has a keen interest in taxation and is dedicated to supporting small businesses. Phoebe prioritizes building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service. Outside of her professional life, she is committed to charity work and takes pleasure in playing the piano, hiking, arts and crafts.
Senior Manager
Liezl van der Walt is a Senior manager at JFV Professional Accountants. She completed her N.DIP in Cost and Management Accounting at the Technikon of the Free State.
Since completing her articles in 2000, she has worked in the accounting industry, specialising in tax planning and financial reporting. She is a registered member of SAIPA. Liezl started her journey with JFV Professional Accountants in January 2016 and strives to build good relationships with her clients by providing a trustworthy and accurate service. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and loves reading and cooking.
General Tax Practitioner
Jaco Kotzé serves as a General tax practitioner at JFV Professional Accountants. With a solid foundation of 16 years in banking, he transitioned to JFV in 2017.
By 2018, Jaco had completed his articles and went on to earn his B. Compt in Financial Accounting from the University of South Africa. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Computer Programming and Application from Durbanville College.
Jaco is consistently committed to delivering service excellence. Outside of work, he relishes outdoor activities and has a passion for badminton.
Administrative Officer
Leevona Pitout holds the position of Administrative office manager at JFV Professional Accountants. Her responsibilities encompass secretarial services for companies, trust amendments, and the winding up of deceased estates.
Beyond this, she oversees all administrative operations and payroll processing. Leevona not only values the camaraderie with her colleagues but also infuses the office with a touch of joy and fun. Outside the professional realm, she cherishes moments with her husband and children. A talented singer, Leevona revels in the spotlight and the thrill of the stage.
Professional Accountant
Lisa-Marie is a senior accountant at JFV Professional Accountants. She completed her SAIPA articles in 2021 and holds a BCom law degree and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting Sciences obtained from UNISA.
She is continuously striving to expand her knowledge in all aspects of her life. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, painting and spending time with friends.
Senior accountant
Yvonne is a senior accountant at JFV Professional Accountants. She holds a Bcom Honours in Management Accounting from the University of the Free State.
She completed her SAIPA learnership at JFV in 2016, and had since then gained valuable experience in the private sector. In 2025 she decided to rejoin the JFV team. Her main interests are in Income tax and business advisory services
She enjoys spending time with her family and loves shopping, reading, cooking, travelling and listening to music.
Junior Accountant
Zarien earned her Higher Certificate in Accounting from Boston City Campus, and is currently preparing to begin her Bcom in Accounting.
With a solid grounding in payroll, CIPC functions and financial reporting, she brings valuable experience to the team. She is known for her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and high level of accuracy. Her focus is on creating clear, practical solutions, and building long-term relationships.
Outside the office, Zarien enjoys gardening and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
Junior Accountant
Cheri is a junior accountant at JFV Professional Accountants, and recently commenced her studies, with the goal of qualifying as a Professional Accountant.
She has a strong passion for working with numbers, and enjoy interacting with other staff members and clients. In her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her family, and doing arts and crafts.
Trainee Accountant
Jasmyn Terblanche is a Trainee accountant currently completing her SAIPA articles. She graduated from the University of the Free State with a B.Com. in Accounting.
Throughout her SAIPA training contract, she is eager to learn as much as she can. After work, she looks forward to spending time with her family and catching up on her favourite shows.
Professional Accountant
Jaco du Toit serves as a Professional accountant at JFV Professional Accountants and is a registered member of SAIPA. He holds a B.Com (Statistics) degree from the University of the Free State and a B.Compt Accounting degree from the University of South Africa.
Having completed his articles in 2019, Jaco is deeply passionate about devising procedures that enhance productivity and accuracy by leveraging technology and software. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with his dogs.
Professional Accountant
Izka de Beer is a Professional accountant at JFV. After earning her Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accountancy from North-West University in 2014, she successfully completed her SAIPA articles and is now a registered member of SAIPA.
Joining JFV Professional Accountants in October 2021, Izka is dedicated to fostering strong client relationships and delivering outstanding service. When not at work, she cherishes moments with her family and has a fondness for hiking.
